Between 3rd and 5th of November a hackaton will be held in the city of Tartu in Estonia.
Garage48 together with ESTCube, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European GNSS Agency (GSA), and under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications are happy to invite you to Tartu between 3-5 of November to improve the life on Earth by using Space technologies.European Space week will be kicked off by Garage48 SpaceTech: Integrated applications hackathon at the University of Tartu Physicum. The goal of the international hackathon is to offer the best possible conditions for cultivating new businesses in the field of space technology.
The hackathon will have the following main streams:
- Games,
- Agriculture,
- Security,
- IoT applications,
- Public services / e-goverance,
- Environmental Protection,
- Lifestyle, Tourism, Health,
- Smart Cities,
- Transportation: Aviation, Maritime, Railroad,
- Mapping and surveying,
- Social media stream / Open Data stream,
- Space applications, described below.
In addition, with the support from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European GNSS Agency (GSA) space-related streams will be organised during this hackaton. These are:
- Earth Observation stream, powered by ESA,
- Satellite Positioning stream, powered by GSA,
- Hardware stream powered by Estonian CubeSat team ESTCube
