Project POSTION presented its achievements at the European Space Solutions conference.
For the last few years the European Commission has been organising the European Space Solutions (ESS) conference in different cities of the EU. Usually the events consist of presentations, workshops and an exhibition area, where a variety of projects are presented, such as those conducted within the Horizon 2020 scheme.Between May 30th and June 3rd ESS took place in Hague, Netherlands. This time it was a large event with over one thousand participants. This year’s edition size is partially linked to the Dutch space industry, which is very active and forms and important part of the European technological sector.
The exhibition area has been divided into a few sections related to: satellite navigation, EO, space research and a dedicated Dutch area. The POSITION project conducted in Poland since the beginning of 2015 had also its own stand. This stand generated considerable interest, especially due to the planned “Demo Day” and several interesting projects, which are being supported by the POSITION team.
