On February 17th the resolution of the Council of Ministers regarding accepting the Polish Space Strategy was published on the Monitor Polski website.
The new agreement between Poland and the European Space Agency was signed on January 12th in Warsaw. The document was signed by Johann-Dietrich Wörner, Director General of ESA, and Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister of the Polish Government.
Current state of Polish space sector has been described in a new “Reaching for the stars” brochure published by Polish Ministry of Development and Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP).
This year, Polish regional edition of the Galileo Masters competition has been won by an aircraft anti-collision project. Awards were also given to a real estate market application and a maritime sports solution.
PW-Sat2 satellite will be launched into a Sun-synchronous orbit of approx. 575 km altitude.

The International Astronautical Federation is pleased to announce that for the first time in IAC history, all Plenary Events as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 67th International Astronautical Congress to be held from 26 – 30 September 2016 in Guadalajara, Mexico, will be live broadcasted.
